Lopez’s nail artist, Tom Bachik, has created tons of stunning nail trends from iconic colors to eye-catching finishes. The mind behind apple cider nails, mannequin nails and the rise of matte top coats, Bachik is tuned in to the biggest looks of the season. And in a year packed with celebrity looks, JLo’s best manicures run the gambit from ultra-classic nude nails to major moments like brat green chrome.
Lopez also helped catapult the mannequin nails trend, which Bachik describes as “tone on tone to match her skin tone,” just like a store mannequin. This look is all about extending the apparent length of your fingers, with a skin tone-matching color that blends in seamlessly to your fingertips.
JLo’s typical mani is in the realm of the rich girl, with lots of glossy nudes and barely-there-shades. But that doesn’t mean she isn’t familiar with a bright shade or two. In fact, we’d wager JLo’s top nail looks have a few more encrusted jewels than you might be expecting!
